The Medi-Jector VISION® Injector

The Medi-Jector VISION® is the state-of-the-art in needle-free insulin injection technology. We introduced the first Medi-Jector devices for insulin injections in 1979, and have continually improved the technology since then. This is our seventh-generation device, with many advanced features, and it offers the comfort you expect with needle-free injections - without compromising convenience or ease of use.

The Needle-Free Syringe and Vial Adapter

Each Medi-Jector VISION® Needle-Free Syringe can be used for up to 21 doses of insulin or 14 days before it must be replaced. The syringes are available in three different sizes (A, B, and C). The difference among them is the size of the opening or "orifice" in the tip of the Needle-Free Syringe, and the size you will use is determined by your skin type. You will start with size "A" and receive some very simple instructions on how to determine if you should move to a different size. People with softer or thinner skin typically can inject with a smaller orifice size whereas those with thicker or tougher skin will often need a slightly larger orifice to inject with the Medi-Jector VISION.

  • Needle-Free Syringe Version A (small orifice)
  • Needle-Free Syringe Version B (medium orifice)
  • Needle-Free Syringe Version C (large orifice)

The Medi-Jector VISION® Vial Adapter connects directly and permanently to the insulin vial and enables the drawing of the insulin into the Needle-Free Syringe on the Injector. The Vial Adapters fit all U-100 insulin vials, and come in two versions to fit the vials from the major insulin manufacturers:

  • 001 Adapters recommended for use with Novo Nordisk® or Aventis® insulins (metal spike to penetrate the rubber vial stopper).
  • 002 Adapters recommended for Lilly® insulins (plastic spike to penetrate the rubber vial stopper)

Needle-Free Supplies Kit A, B or C includes:
  • 4 Needle-Free Syringes (Kit A would contain A syringes; Kit B, B syringes, etc.)
  • 2 Vial Adapters with caps (please specify metal spike or plastic spike)
Kits contain supplies for up to 84 injections and two vials of insulin.
